Vehicle Fitment: Fits Mitsubishi Triton MQ/MR (2015 – 2024) and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport QE/QF (2015 – 2024).
-
Rated and Tested: FEA-tested during design and destruction-tested to determine working load limits.
-
Matched Pair: Supplied as left-hand (LH) and right-hand (RH) for precise vehicle fitment.
-

Installation Instructions
For optimal performance and safety, follow the vehicle-specific instructions included with the recovery points. Correct installation ensures that the recovery points will operate at their maximum working load limit (WLL).
Important: Always use the recovery points as a matched pair with an equalising bridle. Never use a single point with a side load or pull, as it could damage the recovery points and void your warranty.
Installation Tips
-
Professional Fitting Recommended: For the best results, we suggest that a qualified mechanic with 4WD experience fits the recovery points. This ensures the points are properly installed based on your vehicle’s unique setup, including weight distribution, Bull Bar style, and general usage.
-
Chassis Compatibility: These recovery points are designed for vehicles without bull bars. If your vehicle has a bull bar, modifications may be needed. This could involve adjusting the bull bar bracket or adding longer bolts.
Bull Bar Compatibility
If your Triton MQ/MR or Pajero Sport QE/QF is fitted with a bull bar, the mounting bolts may conflict with the required chassis holes for the recovery points. While most issues can be fixed, some situations may require major modifications.
We maintain a list of compatible bull bars, available [here]. If additional hardware, such as longer bolts, is needed, they can be purchased locally. Since bull bar combinations vary, we cannot include every possible bolt in the kit.
Be sure to use grade 8.8 or higher bolts and tighten them according to the correct torque specifications.
Performance and Use
-
Straight-Line Pulls: These recovery points are designed for straight-line recoveries and, in some cases, a 30-degree off-centerline pull.
-
Not for Lifting: The recovery points are not tested for lifting. Lifting requires different forces that may damage the recovery points.
Important Notes
-
Warranty: The warranty covers defects in the recovery points. However, improper installation, misuse, or incorrect selection can void the warranty.
-
Chassis Suitability: Your vehicle’s chassis must be capable of handling recovery forces. The recovery points are tested for strength, but it is your responsibility to ensure that the chassis is designed and rated for this application.
