Designed for the Isuzu D-Max (2020 – On), Isuzu MU-X (2021 – On), and Mazda BT-50 (2020 – On), the Roadsafe Rated Recovery Tow Points offer superior reliability and strength. With extensive testing, these tow points are engineered to handle demanding off-road recoveries, ensuring maximum safety and performance.
Vehicle Fitment: Fits Isuzu D-Max (2020 – On), Isuzu MU-X (2021 – On), and Mazda BT-50 (2020 – On).
Rated and Tested: FEA-tested during design and destruction-tested to establish working load limits.
Matched Pair: Supplied as left-hand (LH) and right-hand (RH) for precise vehicle fitment.
Secure Installation: Includes high tensile bolts and vehicle-specific mounting hardware.
Fitment Instructions: Clear, easy-to-follow instructions provided for correct installation.
For proper installation and to ensure the recovery points operate at their maximum working load limit (WLL), follow the detailed instructions included in the kit.
Important: Always use the recovery points as a matched pair with an equalising bridle. Using a single recovery point with a side load or pull could lead to damage and void your warranty.
Professional Fitting Recommended: To ensure the points are installed correctly, we suggest having them fitted by a qualified mechanic with 4WD experience. This will ensure proper fitment based on your vehicle’s specific setup, including weight distribution, Bull Bar style, and intended usage.
Chassis Compatibility: These recovery points are designed for vehicles without bull bars. If your vehicle has a bull bar, modifications may be necessary. In such cases, the bull bar bracket may need adjustments, and additional hardware (like longer bolts) may be required.
For vehicles fitted with bull bars, the mounting bolts may conflict with the chassis holes needed for the recovery points. While fixes are often available, in some cases, major modifications may be required.
We maintain a list of compatible bull bars, available [here]. If additional hardware is needed, such as longer bolts, they can be purchased locally. Due to the variety of bull bar combinations, we cannot include every possible bolt in the kit.
Always use grade 8.8 or higher bolts and ensure they are tightened to the appropriate torque specifications.
Straight-Line Pulls: These recovery points are designed for straight-line recoveries and are tested to handle the forces involved.
Not for Lifting: These recovery points are not designed for lifting purposes. Lifting requires different forces, which could compromise the integrity of the recovery points.
Warranty: The warranty covers defects in the recovery points. However, improper installation, misuse, or incorrect selection may void the warranty.
Chassis Suitability: The chassis must be designed and rated to handle the recovery forces. The recovery points themselves are tested for strength, but it’s the vehicle owner’s responsibility to ensure the chassis can accommodate them safely.

Roadsafe Rated Recovery Tow Points are FEA Tested during design and Destruction tested during development to establish Working Load Limits. Rated Recovery Points have been designed as matched pairs, supplied in LH/RH for vehicle specific fitment. Your purchase will include high tensile bolts and any additional vehicle specific mounting hardware required to ensure secure fitment to vehicles. Correct fitment of these components is critical for your and others personal safety. Each pair of Rated Recovery Points is supplied with vehicle specific fitment instructions. These instructions should be followed during fitment to ensure all steps are taken for correct installation, so when required, the points will be at their optimum Working Load Limit (WLL) as stamped. Rated Recovery Points fitting instructions can be found here.
Always use Rated Recovery Points as a matched pair with an equalising bridle. Failure to use Rated Recovery Points correctly can result in Rated Recovery Points fatigue and bending and voiding your warranty. Never use a single point combined with a side load/pull. The Rated Recovery Points are easy to install. It is recommended that Rated Recovery Points are fitted by a qualified mechanic with specialist 4WD knowledge who understands your vehicle, including weights carried, the style of Bull Bar, general usage, etc. In some circumstances, these Rated Recovery Points may not be suitable for your vehicle. Incorrect selection or incorrect installation is not covered by warranty.
Rated Recovery Points have been designed on vehicles without Bull Bars. In some circumstances, the bull bar mounting bolts/brackets may utilise the same chassis holes that are utilised for Rated Recovery Point fitment. Most of the time, there is a fix around this – however, in some instances where Bull Bars have been fitted, it precludes the opportunity to fit the Rated Recovery Points without major modifications. Where possible, we maintain a list of Bull Bar fitments which can be found here. Additionally, if a bull bar is fitted, modifications might be required to the bar bracket, and additional hardware might be required (longer bolts etc.) To facilitate fitment. As there are so many combinations and potential bar model combinations, we are unable to include every potential bolt required in the kit – this would make the kits ridiculously expensive. We have supplied the kits with the bolt options identified to suit the majority of applications. Unfortunately, if your vehicle/bar/Rated Recovery Point combination falls outside of those applications, you will have to purchase additional bolts (from a local bolt barn or similar) to suit your required application. We recommend grade 8.8 or higher and tightening to appropriate bolt torque specs. It is the Rated Recovery Points themselves as supplied that have been tested to the WLL advised. It is at the vehicle owner’s discretion for fitment, ensuring that the chassis is adequately designed, constructed and rated to suit this application. These Rated Recovery Points have been designed and tested for straight-line pulls and in some cases, a 30 degree off centreline pull. The Rated Recovery Points have not been tested for lifting purposes and should not be used for lifting. The forces applied to differ between lifting and straight-line pull-type recoveries.
When you’re off-road, reliable recovery gear is essential. Roadsafe Rated Recovery Tow Points are engineered for durability and safety, ensuring a secure recovery every time.
